An Israeli soldier boards a snow-mobile (Hägglunds Bv206) at a military base as his alpine unit heads to their outpost higher up the snow-covered slopes January 25, 2010 of Mount Hermon in the Golan Heights, the strategic plateau that Israel captured from the Syrians in the 1967 Six Day War. Stormy weather has brought much-needed rain to the Holy Land which has been suffering from years of below normal precipitation leaving the Sea of Galilee and underground aquifers at dangerously low levels.
